You surely have many things and dreams that you want to do in your life especially about the career that you want to build by applying for a position, but you don’t need to state them in your cover letter. Don’t say what you are interested in and what you want from them because they will not buy it. Offer what you have and show your enthusiasm is what you have to do. Your interest will matter if it is about why you are interested in the position of the company.
Being humble is necessary, but don’t overreact. You don’t need to say that you are the best candidate, but don’t say that you maybe not a good candidate too. Both of these are bad and inappropriate. Give the manager some reasons why you are qualified for the job is the best thing to do. This is a good way without directly showing your confidence and it still also has your humbleness.
Your cover letter is probably not the best one, but you should at least make it readable and interesting to not giving any bad impression from the hiring manager when reading it. Make your outstanding cover letter to highlight your best skills without being annoying or uninteresting.
